I'm counting down to the Christmas break...

18 days left until I can go up to Yorkshire - even shorter days of course (yes, noticeably so at this time of year, not least because my parents live in a valley so even once it's light there's no sun for ages) - but I get to go see my river and woods and deer and STARS again! And just 20 days until the solstice and then the light starts slowly coming back...
