Proof that....erm, my geography's rather worse than my history. Ask me about North America and historical booze, and I'll think Tennessee & bourbon, and possibly stab at the French having brought brandy & the Dutch, gin....and utterly fail to clock the fact that tequila might have come from north of the Panama canal.
Quite why my brain was insisting it was associated with South America, I don't know...
