small purring creatures

Housemate Nick has given in. Mona living with us means he is always outvoted, and therefore, finally, we're getting a cat.

Nick has developed these odd plans about the cat living in the kitchen, though. Sadly for him, Mona has other ideas..

I really like this girl.

:-)

Cats are quite sweet. On the other hand, they get hair everywhere, tear sofas to pieces with their claws, never learn not to walk on the kitchen worktops or stick their claws into your leg, make the house smell weird, and make the bathroom about the least clean place in the house. Or is that just Robert's cat?

Yay cat! Don't listen to those other people they know nothing! ;) If you get a cat like Pooka (hopefully not from your backgarden slowly freezing and starving to death) then it'll be fine, the only thing she does some of the time is try and scratch the furniture (she completely rebels from using her scratchy post) and curls up in a small ball of furry purriness in my room.
