I think it would be a good thing for them to be punished. I would hope that maybe they wouldn't do it again. If they win their appeal then it's a bit like saying that it's alright to go around tormenting other people and making their life living hells.

Which was my point. It was a much longer rant at first, but it got a bit out of control, sarcastic and incoherent.

Convictions are unsafe. Really? So people shouldn't be punished for intimidating and attacking someone to the point that their heart gives out? In which sicko reality?

first off i notice spelling error, secondly, there are consequences to your actions, in this case a fairly improbable consequencew. Nonethless they made the decision to attack the group of girls and thus the result of their decision was the death of this girl. Punish them fully. Sucks to be them, but frankly, they are not the dead ones.

The attack was sever enough for older lads ON MOTERBIKES had to intervine and help the girls get away, which means it must have been terrifying for them. Regardless of weather or not the girl had a heart condition, that sort of behaviour is wrong.

They assalted someone, they have admitted to that, so they should do the time. Sorry, tough luck, if you can't do the time, don't do the crime.
