Although I'm not sure that's a *bad* thing in this case. The whole 'but I didn't *know* that she was ill and that bullying her and attacking her would kill her' excuse is just...skin crawly.

Which was my point. It was a much longer rant at first, but it got a bit out of control, sarcastic and incoherent.

Convictions are unsafe. Really? So people shouldn't be punished for intimidating and attacking someone to the point that their heart gives out? In which sicko reality?
