Apparently I used to be able to do a note perfect rendition of this song when I was a kid. Without squeaking. I'm not *entirely* sure how. My family used to make me perform it for their entertainment, the gits. I have blanked this evidence of child warping from my mind, and just hope they never made me do the madwoman dance...

Have to pack, which means more sorting of 'stuff I don't actually want or need but just appear to be holding on to for no apparent reason'. If I move house any more, I will own NOTHING. At ALL. This may be a slight exaggeration. But really, considering the amount of stuff I used to have, I often feel as if I own nothing now. :)

This has been a moment of random wittering while listening to Kate Bush. I have my reasons.

I recommend the China Drum cover of Wuthering Heights. Truly, it's brilliant.

I may have to look out for that, then.

I love Kate Bush...

I'm purging at the moment as well, as I bought a new wardrobe for my bedroom and am trying to cram as much into it as possible. Found all the letters people used to write to me in the Olden Days before e-mail, and got completely sidetracked reading those. I have come to the conclusion I miss letters...
I also found a diary I started, full of conviction, on 01/01/98. The last entry is 12/01/98! Hee! :-D

I have all these letters Claire wrote to me when I was first living in London (blimey. *How* many years ago?), and she was living in Farnham with the parental units, and had this really dull temp job that involved none of her brain and about 20 minutes of her day, so she wrote me letters concerning her weekly adventures in her pursuit of a *boy*...

Speaking of furniture. Do I need any?

Nope! There's a double bed, a 6 drawer drawer unit and a built in closet, and also a built-in wardrobe just outside the room in the hallway which is mainly for your use as you have the small room (there's a few of my dresses in there that are too long to hang in my wardrobe and we keep the guest duvets and pillows there, but other than that it's empty). There's also a bookshelf, so you may want to get rid of some furniture, not add to it! :-D
