Drunk presenters (Alan Carr, Vic Reeves, etc), drunk winners, most notably the Arctic Monkeys coming on in tweed with hunting horns and a plastic duck, and other insanity. Random "ooh, it's after the watershed and I'm pissed. BASTARD! Hee hee hee" moments.

It was like the industry decided that tonight, it was going to pay no attention whatsoever to adverse publicity and just get pissed.

No really. The Ozzy contingent was mostly restrained (apart from Sharon), but everyone else had gone off the rails and forgotten to hold back on the beer in case of need to make speeches. :-)

No, but Alan Carr (a comedian who came on drunk to present an award) did say he'd stuck a straw in her beehive. It was really quite hilarious. He bunny-eared a presenter who was interviewing backstage as well. :-D

Amy Winehouse was terribly nervous. Not surprising considering this must have been the first gig she's done live and sober in years...
