Common sense is just taking the most logical course of action to maximise the effort:gain ration in your favour. It is ineffecient over a long term scenario to act contrary to your common sense.
There's nothing wrong with the weaver. When the machine awakes it will be able to give the guidance that the weaver needs to be able to bring the world back into balance again. The weaver will be our ultimate saviour in these end days...
