I have foolishly allowed Love Like Blood and its glorious bass line to play. Now I am all nostalgic. And also developing a great craving for going out dancing. Curses.
The first inkling I had of them was one late night (about 15 years ago - god, 15 years!) ITV were showing some summer festival and KJ were belting out tunes from Pandemonium - that hard-core sense of full-on power just hit me. I knew I had to get my hands on that album, and it went from there.
My brother picked up on punk with its resurgence in the 90's - that passed on to me and I went off on my own direction, helped by a couple of friends, with whom I shared tastes in music.
My Murder Inc and the first Godflesh album I got were from a friend.
He was a total hero of mine, ever since I saw Murder Inc the first time.
I'm glad I caught him playing with Ministry last time round - he still looked like the-bloke-you'd-least-like-to-wake-up-and-find-you-were-sharing-a-cell-with.
