Insofar as you ever can tell about these things, surprises me. No stories of excessive drug use, generally looked healthy and happy, no mad scandal. Strange.

The link puddingcat put up said "with sleeping pills — both prescription medication and nonprescription — on a night table", which is a little less sensationalist than "died of a drug overdose". It may have been suicide, but perhaps it was an accidental overdose instead. Still rather sad though.

The details on those links have been changing all night. When I put this up, it just said "pills".

Suicide seems quite possible.
