Hello, new people of the friend flood

When new people appear here, I always feel like I should suddenly make intelligent posts about sensible issues and things, as I have a brain and am reasonably erudite. And then I remember that, although these posts appear sometimes, my brain is often odd and therefore I should just let it do its thing.

So hello! Locals friendly if odd, tea and cake always served, etc. Look around, nothing will bite. Unless nmdrkangl is lurking anywhere, he might. Be welcome.
