*blink* Well, I guess... I can... kind of understand? Maybe they're going off the idea that destroying plant life hurts the environment because it decreases oxygen, and, um...

Okay, no, I can't figure out the logic behind this... I'm so confused. If "the pleasure" of picking the petals off a daisy counts as a reason, how could they ever enforce this? I could rip a tree apart and say I was going to use the pieces for a craft project, even if I really just wanted to rip a tree apart, no more.

No, the Swiss are just really odd. It's the only place I've ever been where the shopkeepers don't really seem to want to sell anything, or even open their shops most of the time.
