It appears the Garou National 2005 is going to be the last weekend of March. So, seems I need to get that organised as well. I *could* wait until after the Garou National 2004, but that only leaves me a couple of months to find a venue.

This years will be in Sheffield, at the same site as last year. Now I'm sure we could use it again, and it is a fantastic venue, even if the coal seam is a tad scary. Its big, and cheap, and central. However, some people, on hearing that there was to be another National before the end of the YoF (and not just any National..the end of the International Garou Chronicle, no less...), started asking if we could hold it somewhere else. So, fearless Garou players, what d'you think? Sheffield, or somewhere else? And if somewhere else, where? Suggest a venue.

What we need is something like the Sheffield venue. Scout camp or something like. Indoor accomodation (preferably with some form of cooking area and showers and the like) *and* camping space preferable, as March is not always the nicest time to be stuck camping. Much open space, firepit areas always handy, woods a bonus, as inexpensive as we can get so we can keep costs down.

Tell me your thoughts. This is the last one of this Chronicle, the end of the Garou venue as we know it. Possibly even with earthquakes. Tell me where you'd like it to be...

Candleston campsite in Wales is gorgeous but has no indoor accommodation. It's also quite probably not free, as the reason i know it is Shards. You might look up Shining Cliff hostel in Derbyshire - I haven't been there but I think it has indoor and outdoor things.

Shining cliff is a youth hostel which has woods nearby - car able for sure.

Not sure how many it sleeps though

The other problem with Candlestone is that it's miles from everywhere, pretty much.

Personally, I'd suggest Cuffley Camp (Not Tolmer's, the other one) except for the fact that it's probably already booked.
