Too posh to snow?

Maidenhead is a rather posh area, apparently. I say apparently because I live in the cheaper bit, rather close to the scuzzy-dull town centre. Nevertheless, the network of small, wooded and highly expensive villages surrounding the centre make it quite posh.

This tendency to poshness appears to have lulled me into some false sense of something, as I left the house today, confident that almost all the snow had gone and the roads weren't bad at all, only to discover that the roads in Bracknell seem to be made of ice, and most of it is covered in snow...

It's snowing here again, yes. A very genteel sort of snow, covering things in a polite and very thin shiny white layer, all neat and tidy.

Since the council built stuff to make sure the expensive houses by the river didn't get flooded every year, Maidenhead has become 'too posh to flood'. Now, it seems, it's too posh to snow here as well...:)

Still bloody cold though. Brrrr.

well, snow is only fashionable around christmas time when you can show off just how much more crisper, whiter and deeper your snow drifts are to anybody elses ;)
