So. Does anyone have any idea what the Cocteau Twins looked like in 1984?

Photographers can't write dates on dupes, the gits.

*mutters darkly*

:)

EDIT: And New Order in 1982. What is this, 'make Maddie Google for really early photos to see what bands looked like as photographers can't date things' day?

Pesky sensitive artists. *grin*

1984.....

"Treasure" period, yeah? Or was that 85?

Treasure, yes.

stop me. Stop me now. I've just looked at that site and gone 'that's ours, that's ours...bet they didn't pay to use those...'

Back away from the site now.

You know you don't want to be opening cans of worms at this time on a Monday.

(And there must be more "worthy" targets to persecute with lawyers anyway)

Oh, there are. It's just a habit I've picked up. Like reading magazines sideways.

I had no clue what they looked like when it was 1984...now, however, I've got 4 photos of them then sitting on my desk. :)

New Order are going to be trickier, as they were going through a non-photogenic stage around that time.

From hairstyles and the like, I'd say the following link is about the right era:

yeah, I found that one. But her hairstyle (the best indicator of *when* a Nwe Order shot is from) is exactly like one she had in the 90's. I'm down to looking for wrinkles to see when shots were taken...

There is another way.

Look at Peter Hooks's hair/beard/gut. It's possible to date things by corrolating the three.

In theory.

True. Bernard and the other one just look ths same and always have done...

The trick with the Peter Hook dating is finding the start point.
