Patients all evacuated, which is good. But it's in a built up area, adding further to the scary. Part of the attic/top floor looks to be gutted, and it's still burning.
Well, y'know, we're ok down here, and the smoke will never hit cornwall. They'll stop it at the border and demand proof of its heritage before they let it in.
They're up to 125 firefighters now. Roof mostly destroyed, top floor still on fire.
Most of the patients are in a local church, with more urgent cases sent off to the Royal Brompton. Three casualties, one patient and two firemen, smoke inhalation, all at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. This is a very bad day for specialist cancer care.
